Meet The Team
Licensed Realtor
Denise Steffel
Welcome to The Steffel Real Estate Group, I am Denise Steffel, owner and managing member. I am excited to work with clients and community members in the Sarasota/Bradenton area.
Originally from Michigan (Grand Rapids), and later from St. Joseph/Niles where I attended Southwestern Michigan College. My career first took me to Dallas, TX in 1988. I then was recruited to Florida in 2017 to work for Raymond James Financial Services, Inc., as a Vice President of Operations. I have spent 35 years working in the financial services industry. My career spans time working for the likes of Apex Clearing, USB, Bear Stearns, PaineWebber, and Prudential Securities. My industry experience includes working with financial advisors, startup fintech broker-dealers, creating compliance and regulatory adherence programs and more. Most recently I served as the President of a Fintech broker-dealer firm and continue in an advisory role for them today.
On a personal note, I am a proud member of the Little Traverse Bay Band of Odawa Indians, from Petoskey, MI. I was honored to serve as the Vice Chairwoman of the Economic Development Board. In this role I was able to help diversify revenue streams and provide continued growth for the tribe.
